If you’re on holidays and have plenty of spare time on your hands you can take this opportunity to make your own writing paper using my holiday borders design. With a nice sun burnt background and original sun clipart design you won’t want this holiday border going to waste.

I know writing a letter seems a little old fashioned as we have the internet and it’s possibly a lot quicker to write, but their is this nostalgia about receiving a hand written letter on pretty paper. What’s even sweeter is that you mention in the letter you made the paper by adding holiday borders to it.

Making writing is as simple as downloading the holiday borders and opening the PNG in a program that supports this file format and place the border at the top and bottom or just on one side of the paper if you like. Just select print and before you know you’ll be writing your loved one that letter and posting it to them the same day.

This sun border is the same as some other borders I have on my site in terms of size, like my Free Border Clip Art post which has a cute purple heart design that is decorated with white stars, which sits on a purple stripe with a lilac background. For other holiday borders look under Christmas borders and you’ll find a star border which can be used all year round, as it’s very versatile.

Don’t you enjoy waking up early in the morning and watching the sun rise, it’s so magical and moments like these shouldn’t be forgotten which gave me the idea to design scrapbook graphics just for this occasion. Why not capture your special sunrise moment and use this sun image in your page.

I know all of you Scrapbook enthusiasts are snap happy with the camera, and probably have half a dozen photos of sunrises that are just laying around waiting to be used. Try to find your best sunset pictures as you really want this scrapbook page to look spectacular.

With a few sunset photos, scrapbook graphics of the sun,  journal about how you were feeling at the time or if you were on holidays when the photo was taken. With this combination your scrapbook layout will look pretty amazing.

To spruce up your page even more you can also opt for a yellow page layout instead of a white page or perhaps you could use printed designer paper as a background to compliment scrapbook graphics of the sun. Once you’ve decided upon what papers, embellishments and page layout you’re going to use you can enjoy creating your sunrise scrapbook page.
