Don’t you love it when Easter is just around the corner as you can make a wonderful Easter greeting card with colored sand. Make sure the kids invite a few friends over to stay the weekend so they can create a unique Easter greeting card to giveaway. The kids will have so much fun they will be wanting to make more than just one!

To make your Happy Easter greeting cards simply download the Easter color sheet and print it onto ordinary US Letter printer paper. Once printed cut along the dotted line with a pair of child safety scissors or have an adult trim the Easter card down to size.

For this Easter greeting card project you can make it look really interesting by using colored sand, craft glue and a brush. You can usually buy colored sand from any craft supply store, if you’re unable to find colored sand you can make your own.

All you need is to buy some white fine washed sand that is white and use food coloring to make an assortment of pretty colors. Always have an adult present as food coloring will stain anything it comes in contact with. Kids with Easter coming up wouldn’t it be a nice idea to surprise Mum, Dad or anyone that is special to you by choosing printable, happy Easter greeting cards, that can be colored in with bright colors or you can glue anything you like to them. Just think how amazing they will look, and no two will be the same!

Lets start by putting all of your craft supplies onto a table. You’ll need your child safe scissors and color pencils. If you don’t want to use color pencils, you can use felt pens, paint, or ripped up pieces of colored paper to glue onto the front of your Easter greeting cards to give it a mosaic feel.

Once you have made up your mind as to what you are going to color your Easter greeting cards with, just put the materials to one side. Next you’ll need to save the image to your computer, and it’s really easy to do. Start by right clicking once on the greeting cards and then a second time to save them to your computer.

The only thing you will need to do make sure your printer will print in black and white and you have plenty of US Letter sized printer paper. When the printer is set up double click on the happy Easter greeting cards and from the file drop down menu choose print. Make sure you look at the printer settings that the page will print in US Letter and in black and white.

Tip: If your planning to paint your happy Easter greeting cards you might like to use thicker paper like crafting card so it won’t look all wrinkled when the paint has dried.

Once you’ve printed of your Easter cards just wait for a moment for theĀ  ink to dry. Once dry cut along the the dotted line, to make two Easter cards. If you need more than two Easter greeting cards, just print off as many Easter coloring pages that you need. Kids have fun coloring in your Easter greeting cards.
