New Year 2010
Happy New Year to everyone who has visited Pixabella. I hope everyone is enjoying my clip art, coloring pages, greeting cards and can use them in personal projects over the course of the year.
Now that the Christmas and New Year celebrations have come to a close it’s time to get creative once again and share some new designs with you. In the next few weeks I hope to have cute bunnies for Easter, Valentine clip art for Valentines day and a nice mix of graphics to keep life interesting.

Heart Clip Art
Heart clipart can be printed off and used all year round, or for special occasions like Valentines Day, Birthdays, Engagements or Wedding Anniversaries. If you’re a big fan of hearts, why not also use these as engagement clip art, although heart clipart also looks exceptionally cute on food gifts.
Food gifts are a lot of fun to make and always look beautiful with gift tags and labels attached. If you have someone in mind that loves to bake spoil them by making a handmade gift to use in the kitchen. A simple but beautiful gift like vanilla sugar can be used in their sweet delights or in a nice cup of tea or coffee.
To make your gift you will need a few supplies of which most should be in your kitchen already. You will need a bag of white sugar, vanilla beans, a jar, printable clip art and some transparent sticker paper. The transparent sticker paper can be bought from most stationery supply stores and the heart clipart is available free on my blog.
Make sure the jar is a decent size so the vanilla beans can be popped in the jar whole. Remember to split the pods so the vanilla specks can disperse through the sugar. Gently pour in the sugar and give it a little shake at the half way mark and then continue filling the jar to just under the neck. Tighten the lid and your gift is almost complete.
Turn on your printer and place your transparent sticker paper the right way up. Download your heart clipart and make sure it’s the right size label for your jar. Make your adjustments and simply hit print and watch your label come out the other end. Wait for the ink to dry, then carefully cut around the free clip art graphic leaving about a 5mm edge clearance.
Simply peel off the backing and make sure it looks straight before sticking your label firmly to the jar. Their you have it a beautiful gift that is relatively cheap to make and uses adorable heart clipart.
To download right click on the clipart image click “save as” and the heart with clouds clipart will save to your computer.
If you take a look around the internet you will see there is a lot of clipart that is available for free. There are some dedicated clipart sites that require you to sign up for free, or pay a one off subscription, or pay per download.
You can also access free clipart from blogs and websites that only need you to right click on the image choose the ‘Save As’ option.
Paid and free clipart both come with their own set of terms and conditions. In both cases it’s always best to read the image usage rights first before you download clipart. Paying for clipart through a dedicated clipart site might have different payment structures.
Generally you would expect to see these payment schemes: pay per graphic, pay by month, pay per year, or pay for a one off lifetime subscription. The cost varies so it’s always best to shop around and look for a plan that appeals to you.
If you prefer to download free clipart it may be for personal use only. If you’re a little confused with the term personal use, basically you can use the free clipart in any non-profit way like a school project, scrap booking, paper crafts, or websites that earn you no money. Some free clipart sites also require you to provide a link back to their website from yours.
Free clipart can be downloaded as much or as little as you like just as long as you’re not breaking the clipart terms and conditions of use. Valentine Rainbow Clipart
These days money makes the world go round which generally means we have to pay for everything. Having to tighten one’s purse strings means special days like Valentines Day need to be forgotten but not this Valentines day if you make a gift using Free Valentine’s Day Clipart.
Valentine’s Day is a special day, and everyone should receive something small as a gift. With Valentine’s Day being just around the corner why not surprise your loved one this year. If you can only spare a small amount then buy an inexpensive gift and jazz it with this Free Valentine’s Day Clipart.
If you have some Transfer paper lying around and a printer you can print free clipart graphics on any inexpensive fabric gift. Free Clipart can be applied to any light colored fabric that is pattern free and has a tight weave.
If you’re stuck for ideas why not buy a small makeup bag or purse that is made out of plain material for easy transfer application. Make sure when you transfer the Free Valentine’s Day Clipart the fabric is free of creases for easy application. If there are a few creases iron the item beforehand on the correct temperature setting. Singe marks don’t look pretty.
Transfer paper can be purchased at any computer, electronic or stationery supplier. Just follow the guidelines on the transfer paper packet and before you know it you’ll have a unique gift to give to your Valentine.
