When did I blink and miss the sensation that is Miley Cyrus? I've seen some ads on TV for the Hannah Montana show but never really paid much attention, yet this morning I had to sit up and take notice.

A fifteen year old girl has written her memoirs! Yup, I was stunned too. What kind of life experience does someone have at that age? And why is it suddenly worth writing her memoirs over?

I wouldn't have thought being the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus was enough of a reason, and surely there are hundreds of actors who have performed in bigger TV roles, yet apparently Miley Cyrus inspires the kind of adoration that makes her management think a book of memoirs would sell well.

The BBc says she's being paid 'seven figures' to tell all about her 'inspiring story'. Inspiring? Maybe it's because I'm not a teenager, I just don't see how someone of that age can be an inspiration but what do I know, nobody ever offered to pay me 'seven figures' for my life story.

It seems so long ago that our little kittens came into our world, but just look at them now!

They've changed so much in the last few weeks, they're positively gorgeous now, and so domesticated it's hard to believe they were born into a feral colony, and it makes proud we made the decision to adopt them after their mother abandoned them.

Wow, I can't believe it's been two weeks since I last posted anything on my blog, the move has been quite frustrating, first the Internet hasn't worked exactly how we wanted it to, second we've had to put up shower curtains, fill gaps in doors to stop drafts, so many things that we didn't expect to do so we have to go into town every other day to buy stuff.

I think this is what I hate about moving so much, everything always so much time to get organized and you don't feel like you're getting anywhere until a couple of weeks after the event.

Our kittens are doing well, they actually settled in within a few minutes of moving to their new house, and are loving it here. They have more room to run around because the living room, kitchen and dining area are one huge open plan design.

to make things easier for them we also made up some new toys for them, well, scrunching up newspaper into a ball does count as making something and they love it, and I've got the peace of mind knowing if they swallow bit of it they won't get sick.

This weekend we moved house, and we took our 6 week old kittens with us. This was the first time they've been out of their comfort zone, also their first time in a car, and let's not forget the first time in their new home.

We were really worried that they'd not travel well, perhaps struggle to get out of the travel box, but in fact they coped really really well. We used the cardboard box they've been sleeping in, but closed the top flap and held it down with twine.

At first they tried to get out, but as soon as we were in the car they settled down an went to sleep. In fact they didn't even notice when we arrived at the new house and carried them into the living room.

After the box was opened we woke them and let them climb out on their own, and honestly within a couple of minutes they racing all over the house sniffing out new hiding places, discovering where we'd put their toilet box, climbing the armchairs, and getting into mischief.

The next day they seemed to know their way around so well it's as if they were born here. All in all we're delighted, the kittens being happy is a big weight off our minds.

I love it when celebrities, who really aren't very talented, try to get even with each other. This time it's Sophie Monk hamming it up in heels doing a bad impersonation of Paris Hilton.

The rivalry between these two began when Sophie's ex boyfriend Benjo Madden started dating Paris, and now Paris is also producing a new reality show with Ryan Seacrest, another of Sophie's exes.

Who knows where this will end, two blondes competing for men and attention is never going to be a quick fight, I'd put money on this one continuing until Paris gets dumped again, then they both make up and become best buddies.

It has all the makings of another reality TV show, and a lot of money from the tabloids for an exclusive story. Am I being too cynical?

In the meantime, the clips of Sophie pretending to be even ditzier than she is have given me a good laugh.
