Halloween Bat Stencils

Halloween is almost here and it’s time to put on your witches decorating hat, and make bats decorations using these Halloween bat stencils to make your home a little creepy like.

When someone that Trick or Treats comes knocking at your door what better way to greet them, than with spooky bats hanging from the inside of your door frame. The bats won’t be expected and it will give them a real fright. To make these spooky bat decorations, you’ll first need to download the Halloween bat stencils to your desktop. Once you have downloaded the bat stencils you can print them onto durable white crafting card.

Using durable crafting card it makes the bat Halloween stencils outline easier for the kids to see, and a lot sturdier for little hands to work with.

The kids will love this part, cutting out the bats stencils. Just make sure the children are supervised by an adult and get them to use child safety scissors to avoid accidents. Kids will be kids!!!

Halloween Bat Stencils

With some black crafting card, place the Halloween bat stencils on top of the card and then trace around them until you have as many scary bats as you need. Using a white pencil or a silver pen will make it a lot easier to see the bat shape on the black card. Having traced them it’s time to cut

Once all of your Halloween bat stencils are cut it’s time to fix them to the top of your door frame. You’ll either need some clear jewellery making thread or some trusty fishing line.

Parents make a small hole in each Halloween bat to pass the thread through and then tie a knot. To make your front entrance interesting vary the lengths of the thread. To fix your black bats to the door frame use some clear tape or double sided tape. Being at the door maybe double sided tape is better as it will have a stronger hold against the wind and when you come and go from the house.
