Have you thought about making a gift card that says I love you! Love heart stencils make it real easy to turn a colored piece of paper into a loving gift card. To make all sorts of love heart gift cards you can print love heart stencils onto any sort of paper. Designer printer paper can also be used by printing the love heart stencils directly onto it. You might ask how? Well these love heart stencils all have a black border.
Having a black border makes the love heart stencils easy to cut out. For some of you who don’t feel like coloring or painting you can just print directly onto designer printer paper. Now if you don’t have designer printer paper you can always use handmade paper, card stock or even pretty writing paper with no lines.
Other than decorative paper for the hearts you’ll need some colored card stock that is a nice color combination with the paper you have chosen. This card stock will become the basis for the card which you’re going to glue the love heart stencils to.
To make this love heart gift card you will need to download the stencil PNG first. When ready print the love heart stencils directly onto the paper of your choice. By not changing the black border around the love heart stencils it make it easier for you to cut around it later.
You will also notice that some of the love hearts on the stencil have another heart in the center. This is so you can cut out the center or alternatively cut around the whole heart. What ever you decide I am sure your love heart gift card is going to look super cute.
Now were going to measure, mark and trim down the card stock to the size of a gift card. Once trimmed were going to glue your designer paper to the front of your gift card. This paper should look like a love heart, exactly like one of the ones from the love heart stencils.
When you’ve finished gluing down your love hearts just wait for them to dry. If you use a glue stick this paper project should be dry in no time. To finish off this love heart gift card why not making it really special by writing a few words to the one you love.
