Wrapped up gifts can look as artistic or as traditional as you like using red heart clipart. If you would like a fun way to wrap up a gift to surprise the receiver then try this fabulous clip art free project below.
Gather all your bits and pieces together like your scissors, tape, cellophane, colored tissue paper, clip art, ribbon, silver glitter, and the gift you’re wanting to wrap. Make some space on a large surface area like the kitchen table because it’s a good height to work from and generally is dust free.
Set up your workspace and then start by measuring up the gift against the tissue paper. Remember to leave enough paper so you can fold the edges down later. You might have noticed that tissue paper is very delicate but also very translucent.
To make sure clip art free gift stays as a surprise use enough sheets to hide the gift but not too much so, the paper looses its transparency. Measure and cut the tissue paper so the gift will look tidy when you fold over the edges and tape it down.
Decide how you’re going to wrap the gift first, because you might decide that you want to bunch up the cellophane and tie a ribbon around it. Cutting cellophane can be a little tricky as it slips and slides everywhere. The cellophane will try to roll back in on itself, so place a few weighted objects to hold it down while you finish measuring and cutting.
With your heart clip art free download you’ll need to reduce the size of it so much so it looks like confetti. Make the confetti big enough so the love heart clipart is still recognizable. Cut out every heart and place some on the cellophane and mix them around a little. Pop the gift onto the cellophane and add an extra sprinkling of glitter and a few more hearts. Try and slide a few hearts down the sides to make the gift look more appealing.
Finish wrapping up the gift by securing the edges with sticky tape and tie the ribbon around the gift. If need be you can download a printable card from my Cards and Labels category.
What’s really fun about this heart clip art free gift is the glitter and the hearts move inside the wrapping paper. It’s fun gift and even more so when the gift is opened and they’re showered in glitter and hearts. Surprise!
