I love you takes on a new meaning when scientists tell you they can predict the kind of people we fall in love with.
Just the other day I was reading about some research that said most women end up in long term relationships with men who remind them of their fathers, either in looks or personality. I always thought that was an old wives tale but apparently not.
Today I saw something different, but still really interesting that a bunch of people were asked to look at photographs of attractive people looking at the camera or away from the camera, and almost all of the people doing the test said they were attracted to the people who were smiling into the camera.
The reason this is important is because when we meet people and wonder what if, or should I speak to this person who I find attractive, the research says to not bother unless the other person gives you eye contact, smiles, and seems to angle their body towards you.
I'm not sure if a single pleasant encounter with another person is enough, and the research doesn't say anything about people in the workplace, but it definitely gives food for thought doesn't it?
